Susanna Lau
Susanna attends Claremont McKenna College. She is committed to helping her community by volunteering and providing resources for success to others. Her favorite topics include health, biodiversity, and living systems. Susanna plans to explore her options in health and medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys playing piano, helping animals at her local shelter, and spending time with her friends.

Lana Nguyen
Lana is a student at Brown University. She is passionate about creating change in low-income communities and seeks ways to represent their voices. She prides herself in better understanding her community through volunteer work. She aims to improve the healthcare system by bringing awareness about various health topics and resources that support underprivileged communities.

Serena Wong
Serena is determined to bring change and satisfaction to her community and strives to set out equal opportunities for everyone. She loves giving back and helping through volunteering, especially at hospitals. An ambition of hers is to find a career in nursing, where her selflessness shines in considering and taking care of others. Apart from her studies, Serena is an active gym goer and loves spending time with friends and family.

Nancy Deng
Nancy is a high school junior. She dedicates her time to learning new skills and helping others. She focuses on building leadership and wants to help her community through different acts of volunteer and service. Nancy loves to study topics related to STEM and wants to share her passion for learning with others, especially those who are at disadvantage. Her favorite activities outside of academics include running and drinking iced coffee.

Kailee is a high school student in the Bay Area. She enjoys helping and giving to people in need through volunteer work in her community. Apart from school, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and trying out new restaurants.

Sophia Hernandez
Sophia is a dedicated, passionate student and friend. She enjoys helping out in her local community and offering support to those in need. Outside of school, she spends her time reading and hanging out with friends. Having grown up in a low-income situation herself, Sophia knows the struggles of having enough money for food and supplies is like and is eager to help others in hard situations get the supplies they need to prosper.

Katrina Sondern
Katrina attends Trinity University. She wants to provide helpful information and support for low-income families and communities. Growing up as a low income student herself, she understands the importance of support and accessibility to everyday necessities. In her free time, she likes to hang out with friends and family, stay active by playing sports, and enjoy nature.

Kyoko Saito
Kyoko is a student at Brown University who is passionate about providing equal opportunities to people in need through community engagement. She particularly enjoys providing mentorship and support to younger students. In the future, she hopes to work as a pediatrician in underrepresented communities to improve the health and educational outcomes of low-income children. In her free time, she enjoys playing the violin and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Victoria Aye
Victoria is a freshman at UCLA. She is passionate about helping and making changes in her community. As a low-income student herself, she received a lot of help and care from her community. She is eager to give back to her community. Victoria is interested in math and plans to go into the business field. Outside of her studies, she loves to spend time with friends and family. You can always find her in any local boba shop hanging out with friends.

Adrienne Chen
Adrienne is a determined person that hopes to make her community a better place. As a low-income student, she has received help from others and wants to give back to others. She wants to help others improve their learning careers. Adrienne’s favorite topic in school is math and music. She is thinking about entering the business field, engineering field, or becoming an architect. Outside of school, she likes to talk with her friends and listen to music.

Willow Nishimura
Willow attends college in Southern California and is determined to get a degree in business. She acknowledges the limitations that low-income students face and wants to aid them in obtaining equal opportunities. She serves her community through volunteering and seeks ways to help others when given the chance. In her free time, Willow loves hiking, spontaneous day trips, and trying out new restaurants and boba places with friends.

Mina Olson
Mina attends Whitman College in Washington State, and is studying biology. She believes that equity in education is essential, and is dedicated to helping ensure that all students have equal opportunities to learn. At college, she volunteers in local public schools to support teachers and students in the classroom. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her friends.
