Jennifer Siebel Newsom is California’s First Partner, a filmmaker, and the founder of The Representation Project. Her award-winning documentary, “Miss Representation”, addresses the problem of how mainstream media and culture contribute to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America. The Representation Project is a non-profit with the mission of ensuring every individual can achieve their full potential, despite limiting gender norms, stereotypes, and social injustices by offering training and educational programs.
